The rear focal plane illuminated FireDot Tri-MOA reticle is fine and minimally covers the target as subtensions change with zoom and tune the ballistic reticles. Easily control the reticle with one-button design or allow the Motion Sensor Technology(MST) to deactivate illumination after 5 minutes of inactivity to save battery life. 

The Leupold VX-6HD 2-12x42 FireDot Tri-MOA CDS-ZL2 features a 42mm objective lens coated with a Guard-Ion-assisted coating, which ensures the lens surfaces are protected from scratches and other abrasions and is sealed to guarantee it is 100% water and fog proof. See more with even less light using the Twilight Light Management System, which adds up to an extra 30 minutes of shooting light and eliminates 90% more glare than the competition. ZeroLock system helps avoid accidental adjustments and an electronic leveling system causes the reticle to blink when the scope is not level.
